We want to ensure audiences have a welcoming and enjoyable experience at the London Short  Film Festival, and have plans in place to ensure your visit is accessible and hassle-free.

 

Captioning and BSL Provision

My Eye is My Ear, Sketch Night, Desired Outcomes and all UK Competition Screenings at BFI Southbank will have full d/Deaf and Hard of Hearing access provision, with descriptive subtitles, BSL-interpreted introductions and Q&As. Descriptive subtitles provided by Matchbox Cinesub.


Venues 

All of London Short Film Festival’s 2023 venues have level access and are wheelchair accessible. Detailed access information for each venue can be found on their respective websites.


Signage 

Each of our venues will have additional signage to help you find your screening. Please ask a member of the team if you need help finding the right screen.


Safe Space Policy 

London Short Film Festival’s intention is always to create a safe and inclusive environment in which  all cinema-goers – regardless of  ability, race, gender or background – feel welcomed and respected. We operate a zero-tolerance policy  on disrespectful or derogatory language or behaviour and harassment of all kinds. We request  that our audiences are active in looking out for one another, and staff will be present at every screening and event to assist you.
